Today is the first day that we’re going to be driving the new um F250 here. I haven’t named it yet, but uh yeah, this going to be the first POV. I’m super excited. Of course, we got Red right here. As y’all can see, some reason here lately, guys, I have been getting a ton of comments asking about Red.
A lot of people have just bought their new truck. And for some reason, a lot of people have bought the 15 to 2017 versions, and I’ve been getting DM’d like crazy. But Red looks pretty good when she cleaned up, man. Everywhere I go now, I get so many compliments on Red. Over time, for some reason, she just like has gotten better and people love her even more.
So, yeah, she’s still here. She’s still around. If you wonder what’s going to happen to Red, she is paid off. I mean, what’s the point of getting rid of her, you know? But we’ll see what the future holds.
But Red, Red, y’all remember last time I got the Camaro, Red started tripping, bro. She started having issue after issue after issue. So, girl, hey, hey, we still love you. They love you. We got love for you.I got love for you, my baby. You started this whole thing. We love you. So, don’t don’t be tripping again. But today, we all about to take the F250 out, guys, for the first time.
You see the power boards and running boards already come down. It does that um when the key gets close. But let’s see if we can start it. See what it sound like. [Applause] [Laughter] Man, bro, the exhaust is very quiet though, guys.
That’s a lot of air coming from here. Jeez, I fell on my legs. Very quiet. But up here, you hear that? Yeah, that’s 6.
7 tick tick tick tick tick tick tick. But anyway, guys. Yeah. So, we about to take the truck out for the first time, man.
First drive.
One thing I will tell you, bro, there’s so much storage. Like this slides over for another cup holder, but I’ll get into all that. But this thing is freaking spacious. First drive in, I’m very curious to see how these tires are going to sound cuz they are um some empty tires. So, let’s see how they’re going to sound.
Turn, man. Hearing that diesel engine, bro. Oh my gosh. It’s so smooth, bro. So, this is a 10-speed.
This is my first time owning a 10-speed. So, as y’all know, Red is a six-speed. I’m going be honest with you, bro.
I’m trying to find Chick-fil-A real quick before they close. Get a chance right here to kind of get up on it.
See what she can do just a little bit. Oh my goodness. Wow, [Laughter] bro. What? I’m going to be honest with y’all.
I actually almost considered racing Red versus this truck. Bro, it won’t be no comparison. I’m not sure if y’all can see the heads up display, but yeah, it’s it’s great. And the brakes are actually very good. Uh, the truck has a lot of body roll.
I’m noticing though. Seriously, like just as much body roll as Red. Now, I’m not in a sports car. Maybe I’m driving it like a sports car just cuz cuz I’m so used to uh the big wheels and tires that I don’t have that. So, I’m just kind of flying around.
I haven’t even adjusted my mirrors, bro. Let me adjust my mirrors. Which Which one the mirror button is? Is it this one? It has a lot more body roll.
Y’all heard my backpack just went like sliding way over there. Maybe I’m going too fast. I don’t know. I can tell you the power, the torque. I I have only driven this truck for what 30 seconds, a minute, maybe two minutes, and it’s probably my favorite truck I’ve ever driven.
Absolutely. Hand down, bro. My probably my favorite truck, dude. This thing, the presence, the way it feels sitting so tall, you know? It’s crazy, man.
And like, can y’all see that heads up display this way? I’m not sure can. It’s so bright and you can actually change the brightness on it. But gosh, this thing is I think this is my favorite truck to date for sure. That’s me.

I like the brakes actually. The brakes are good. Like see how everything’s just sliding around like everything like what’s going on? I don’t think these stuff slide around in red this much.
I don’t know cuz I’m sitting up taller or what.
Actually, guys, since this line is so long at Chick-fil-A, I’m about to run inside. But oh, it handle is nice though. Like the way it turns is so smooth. I can get full lock, you know. But yeah, I’m about to run inside here really quick, guys.

I was even I was scared to crank it full. Turn left and then turn right. I don’t know if there’s a good idea that I put her on, but y’all bear with me. Um, the heads-up display now has the GPS instructions. Turn right to Walmart Drive.
Yeah, I definitely got to fix my mirror. I can’t see. Crap. Oh my god. Handling is so good.
Woo. I’m in a 6.7 Power Stroke, bro. I’m serious. Like, I’m sorry, cars.
I got to go. I ain’t got time to be waiting. Go get out here. That’s thing about having a big truck. I hate to say it.

Like, it’s kind of overwhelming. It’s beeping, but I think I need to turn that off.

But like all this stuff like it got like distance keep on notifications and like how close I am. Uh oh my goodness, bro. I’m in the freaking 67. But far as like I’m in ninth gear right now. Oh my goodness.
It’s so smooth. So, it’s holding ninth. I’m going seven. I wonder actually that just bought up thought about something.
Did they get the speedo corrected on this truck for um for the new tires?
I put cruise control on. Okay, cruise control is set to 79. Oh, it’s got adaptive cruise control. Why is it not going faster? Oh, let me close the distance.I think Yeah, close the distance. There we go. But it’s slowing down now. Oh, cuz the car in front of me is slowing down. Bro, I know how depth they work, guys.
Trust me. I’m I’m just I’m just a little overwhelmed. I got this big old camera on my head trying to film for y’all. It’s my first time driving a truck.
Seriously.
So, yeah. We just got a lot going on. It is smooth, bro. Now, the tires the tires are a little loud. I will say they do have a little noise.
Um, and a little vibration. I can tell how some better tires would do this truck pretty pretty good. Right now, the speedometer is showing 77, but Wade says I’m going 82. So, the speedometer has not been recalculated with the new uh tires on here. They didn’t recalculate it, and I’m used to that.
That’s okay. With red, as you know, the speedometer is actually I got red dialed in pretty good. read is like 1 to 2 m an hour off. Um so it’s not too bad, but this definitely is off about about 5 mph. So if you own a lifted truck, if you do know if you put any lifting wheels tire on the truck, it’s going to um change the uh speedometer, you know, and it’s going to be off.
So I had to look into getting that calculate uh recalculated as well.Usually you can do that through a tune. Oh man. Now that was a big bump right there and it’s very floaty. That was a very floaty feeling in the back end, I will say.
But I can see how some new tires may do it a little justice. May do it a little smoother ride for sure. They’re not bad. They’re not bad at all. Honestly, um kind of up there with the Nitto Ridge Grappler.
I’ll compare them to maybe a little louder than the Nitto Ridge Grappler, but yeah. But man, it’s right now I’m going what? So 80. So the speedo speedo’s off by like 4 miles an hour. So I’m going 5 miles faster than what the speedo is showing.
So it say that don’t feel right though. I promise you. like it don’t feel like I’m going 80 right now unless these cars in front of me are flying, you know. Start down about 60 and um get up on it here.
Let’s just go from right here.
It dropped down to seventh right there. Eighth and I’m just like that, bro. This Wow. Wow. It has so much power, dude.
Guys, this thing has immense amount of power. I got up to the and it didn’t feel like I was going the speed that it just showed on the speedome. Look at this guy. He out there big time uh cafe racer. I I’m worried I’m going to hit his feet.
He got him sticking out so far. Man, I love the tall profile this thing. Like it is so tall on the road. You can see everything. One thing I have noticed and I’m not sure exactly what it is, but Red, her suspension is so much tighter than most trucks.
See that bump right there was super floaty. Like I literally came up out of my seat like right there. It’s super floaty suspension. I’m curious what’s on here. Um I’m not sure if that’s good or bad, but I’m definitely bobbing up and down, you know, like super floaty over big bumps.
Like I’m like about to come out my seat. But I noticed with Red, her suspension is tighter than any other truck I’ve driven. When I driven my uh other buddy had the black F250, I noticed his suspension felt the steering, sorry, not suspension, steering felt a little looser than mine. Red just has a very tight feel to it. I’m not sure what it is.
And this is kind of g me that loose feel. It doesn’t really feel like tight, if that makes sense. It’s like, you know, when you put your car in sport mode and it feels super tight. That’s how red feels normally. This feels like a lot looser, relaxed.
Let’s get a little get on it right here. We drop down to eighth right there. This thing has passing power for days, bro. For days. Like my goodness.
All these sensory like now it’s like these yellow orange lines on telling me I’m too close to the car in front of me.
I’m just not used to all that. So like it’s literally sensory overload. Let’s get up on it right here. Oh my goodness, bro.Drop down to seventh again. Look at this thing pull like a freaking train. My goodness. This thing pulls like a freaking train, bro. Wow.
One thing I have noticed is the mirrors. Can I pull them in? Cuz they are Okay. They’re very shaky, very bouncy. I think cuz they’re so far from the truck.
So, as I’m looking in my mirrors here, this guy coming, the mirrors just kind of flutter fluttering in a little bit. You know, it’s not steady. Even on this side, I noticed that on both. Not bad. is just going to take my time.
I have something to get used to. But so how fast like there’s It says I’m going 80 right now. It does not feel like I’m going 80, bro. I I just don’t feel like it because this thing is floating like a Cadillac, man.
Display.
Look at that. 23 miles to my exit. Like everything is like right here in front of you for the driver to where you don’t have to really fool with all this stuff right here. I can see my speed, my distance, my time, the speed limit. I can see the temperature outside all right there.
And then also I have my uh driver assistance alerts up here as well, but I’m really trying to figure out how fast I’m going because it just it just it’s saying I’m going 82 miles an hour. I just don’t feel like I’m going 82. I see why people loves these love these trucks. I genuinely genuinely see why people love these trucks. This is probably the best truck I’ve ever driven and I been driven it for a while.
So y’all probably like give me some more time for sure. I’m going to give it some more time, guys. Like I think I’m just excited. all the new tech cuz like just come from a 2015 to a 2023 like it’s like night and day difference especially with the dash. Oh, you see driver assistance right there when I mess with it.
Now if you want to Oh, look. It put the car in front of you like a like the Tesla does. Go ahead and get a little passing power right here. See what she got. Oh my gosh, bro.
This truck freaking train. Oh, see that bump right there at that speed. Very floaty. Suspension feels very like look at that. very I don’t like the front.
I don’t know if it’s the tires or the 11k.
I don’t know. But going over bumps right like all the play in the steering wheel, which I mean that happens in red, too. But, you know, um yeah, that’s that’s very interesting. It just feels a little a little loose.
That’s all I’m going to describe it. Loose. Let me slow down cuz there’s no way I’m going 80 like that. If I’m doing 80, that red van is doing like 90. So, I’m trying to figure out which one is correct.
But back to the fuel economy. If you go down here, you know, you got trip one, trip two, but now they actually just have a fuel economy section for you. So you can see your current drive. You don’t have to reset if you’re trying to track one and two.
Currently, it shows I’m averaging 13.
7 MPG. Right now, the little bar is at 15 with my current speed. So of course, it’s going to fluctuate depending on the speed you’re traveling, right? 13.7.
That’s that’s that’s not bad. I mean, that’s what I get in red. I met a guy at Chick-fil-A last night. He had a steel body 2015 6.7.
He was like, “Man, if I’m doing 90 or I’m doing 40.” He like, “I always average 13.6.” He like, “No matter how I drive this thing, it stays the same.” Now, we’re doing just some side road driving.
See how the truck feels. One thing I know a lot of people say the 10-speed transmission. Some people say a little sloppy in these trucks, but honestly, right now, I’m going what, 35, 40, and it went through every gear so far. I know a lot of people said that the 10-speed tend to tends to um skip a lot of gears, like hunt for gears, but I don’t know if they if they did this on the 23 pluses or what, but this thing hits every gear like first, second, third, fourth, all the way up and you know, right now it’s holding seventh gear, so it don’t seem to be an issue with it.
Also, I was thinking earlier, like I was saying, it was bumpy.
It’s a F250. I I’m thinking F-150. These F250s are a little stiffer from what I hear, and they do ride a little firmer. I mean, not saying this ride firm at all or hard at all. This thing actually rides very very smooth.
But I I was comparing it to F-150, but these are supposed to ride, you know, it’s F250 is supposed to, you know, payload and put some in the bed and so it’s supposed to have a little stiffer suspension, you know. But anyway, no, this thing’s amazing though. Just taking off some lights if I really want to like right there. Look at that. Oh my god.
The power comes on right in like what was that? I missed it. Like fourth gear maybe. 2500 RPMs and you can just really feel those turbos come on. Like this thing literally pulls like a freaking freight train.
Like seriously, man. Get a chance to test the brake right here. You know, excuse all my stuff sliding around.
The brakes are actually very very good. I’m going be honest with you.But this size truck, the brakes are actually excellent. Seriously, they’re they’re they’re excellent, guys. And this truck does have some nice ambient lighting. I’m sure y’all can see on my shoes down there in green light. So, first gear, second gear, third gear, fourth gear, fifth gear, sixth, it’s probably going to go to seven.
So, it’s it’s holding sixth gear at about seven. So, it’s seven seems to be it cruising gear around the city, but it literally went through every gear. So, you know, I believe what people said. Again, this is my first 6.7.
This is my first 10-speed Ford truck. I believe people said used to skip a lot of gears, but maybe that’s only on downshifting, but right now it’s downshifting in third and then it just skips to one on the downshift, but it didn’t feel like abrupt or anything, you know, taking off, man. Ain’t nothing like the sound of that 67, bro.
Hearing that sound that this thing sounds so good, man. That diesel sound, bro.[Music] And it’s just smooth. Now I’m up in eighth gear at 1,000 RPM. This is my first time driving it at night as well. So I did want to see like what the ambient light and stuff looked like, how it lit up, you know, at night. This is a beautiful truck, bro.
It really is a beautiful truck. Ford killed the interior.
So we just went from third gear, fourth. Yeah. Hitting every gear.
Fifth. God, this thing. And the road presence. Like right now, I’m looking at the car beside me. A Jeep just pulled up beside me and this truck just sits so tall.
The presence of this truck on the road is insane. Like this thing has been turning heads everywhere I went so far. Like everywhere I taken this truck, it turns head. I’m be honest with turns heads. I’m going be honest with you.
I used to think the 2023s are ugly, bro. I really did. I did not like them. But I think with everything like all things, it takes a little while just to grow on it, you know? But yeah, I did not like these at first.
I like it now. This thing is freaking beautiful, bro. Like, it really is. Go ahead and maybe come a little hard break. I think I think we got to Here we go.
Let me just get a little on it right here. Let’s see. We’re in third gear. God, this thing is fast. This thing pulls like a locomotive.Pissed off. I’m not even lying. I really thought my EcoBoost was fast, bro. You know what real power is like in a diesel, man. Oh my god.
You feel those turbos come on and this thing just it’s just a linear just pull. It doesn’t stop, you know, and it’s and I honestly I’m getting out of it when when it really feel like it’s starting to go because well, one, you know, just speed limit over here. I ain’t want to go too fast, but two, just the power. You can feel the power. Come on.
You know, slowing down sixth gear, fifth gear. third gear. It went from fifth to third and I think it usually holds third until you don’t come to a complete stop there. Oh, they’re second and now one. Okay.
I was thinking if you didn’t coast any uh any lower in speed would hold third gear like basically starting in third instead of shifting your way down to uh first gear using less power, less less fuel, you know, starting a high gear.
So, makes sense. I’m pretty sure these trucks are tuned to be more efficient, you know, coming from factory. I’m going be real with y’all, bro. It feels bigger than red.
Like, it does feel like a big truck. I’m not going to lie to you. Like, I don’t know if it’s the tow mirrors or what it is, but it just feels like a big truck. Honestly, man. Yeah, I love this thing, bro.
I I see why people once you get a diesel, you don’t go back. I I get it now. I really get it. Now, I know a lot of people go back like maybe because of the maintenance and stuff like that, but far as drivability, power, bro, and how this thing feels, F-150 don’t. It just it’s just different.
And I’m not I love my F150. I’m not saying nothing wrong with F150 at all, but I see I get the diesel hype now.
I get it. I say it’s hype. I get I get it.
You know, I get why. Breaking on this corner right here. See how it turn? It does tilt in. I I still think there’s a lot of body roll in the truck though, like I said, cuz it is bigger, I guess.
Y’all comment below if there’s more. I don’t know. But there definitely is a lot of body roll. I definitely feel the body roll. Um I don’t know what they got going on there.
Oh, they got a band and everything. That’s where I need to be at. Oh yeah, getting to it. It’ll be a good little chance to kind of get up on her. See what she can do.
Oh, the Jeep coming in hot. Okay, here we go. I’m just rolling to it. It’s all the way down. It’s like it lost traction.
Jeez. Wow. This thing. I think I lost power cuz it was going and then it felt like it cut cut power. So, I think I lost traction or something cuz it definitely did feel like it wasn’t giving me the full beans for a second.
I didn’t see a traction like come on. But I also got this big GoPro in front of my face. So, it’s hard to see a lot of stuff. Man, this car is on my like why is this car so close to me, bro? This how you get braid checked.
Seriously. like back up, back up, bro. All the safety features popping up as well. All right, we going to go ahead and roll on it right here. It is floating.
Wow. For a big truck to move this fast that quick, bro. This is crazy. Like, for a truck this size to pull like that is insane.

Yeah, guys, that’s my first driving this truck and honestly, I’m I’m in love with it. Like, I seriously love this truck. I see why people love these Power Strokes. Like, goodness gracious, you know? And just for reference right now, I’m at uh 10th 10th gear going about 75 miles an hour.
RPM’s about 1500. So, not bad. But this thing is beautiful. The layout, you get this the the reliable 6.7 in this thing.
Powerful 6.7. It looks great. You know, a lot of people did talk about the looks, but I think they are grown on people. They definitely have grown on me.
And seeing this one, this one definitely has grown on me, you know. I love the way this thing drive.
Like I freaking love it. Like the comfort I get in a truck this size, this much power to like be this tamed, you know, is is amazing. But anyway, comment below, man.
