Buying a 1000HP L5P Duramax!

Pretty much I finally found the truck this morning and uh. I sent the seller a deposit holy. We might have a problem as far as the truck sits right now, there’s two major things that have to go on the te. What up guys welcome back to yet another YouTube video now uh, as you can see, we’re driving right now in my work truck my 2015 power stroke. That is just it’s a cool truck.

It’S not that cool, so uh to give a little backstory of what’s going down today woke up this morning bright and early 11:30 a.m. slammed the Red Bull went to the shop, and then I hopped on Facebook Marketplace – and you know hopping on Facebook Marketplace – is a Disaster in and of itself to begin with, um well about 5 minutes in on Faceook Marketplace saw a truck and I was like hell yeah. Now not a lot of people know, but I’ve been after I’ve been on the search for a new daily for a while. Now now I have the M3, but I’m always using the bed of my truck for stuff, so I always like I always I pretty much drive a truck every day and then I’ll drive the M3 on the weekends and uh.

This is the truck I’ve been driving every day and I’m just ready to just retire this thing as a full-blown work truck for the shop cool truck, just just not it anyways I’ve been looking to buy a new daily to just let this truck be just a Shop work truck that I can just leave at the shop and me actually have like a nicer daily driver, so uh like my main requirements for that were not too high, but it’s just taken forever to find one that I like. I wanted a cool color at least 5 years old or newer, pretty much. I finally found the truck this morning and uh. I sent the seller a deposit and, if you pan over, we are currently at the bank and pretty much all we got to do now. I’M going to run in grab some cash, real, quick, we’re going to go, grab Brock from the shop and then we’re going to head up to Colorado, Colorado and uh yeah so come along for us on this journey.
As we go by my thousand horsepower daily driver. Sema rig squatted box, Carolina Suburban number, two d. I told you to send the money to the seller all right, so I got a cashier check for 30 grand. I got 15K in cash and in my backpack I got another 15K in cash and a MAG so uh pretty much. The original plan with the mag is we’re just going to try and get this thing for free.

If you know what I mean and if that doesn’t work, then we’ll actually pay him, but pretty much. We got about 60 Grand turns out that it doesn’t take that long to uh get funding from the bank when you don’t have to take a loan out on it. So every vehicle that I buy is quite possibly the most impulse purchase ever so it is 5:30 at night right now, so oh, I’m in manual mode, so uh we’re going to head to the shop grab Brock and get on the road all right! Well, as you can see, we made it back to the shop we’re airing up this set of stocks, cuz uh we’re buying this thing on stocks cuz, I want to put my own wheels on on it. Haven’T decided what Wheels I want to throw on it yet either if I want to do 26s or 24s to be determined on that, but we’re going to air up the rest of these stocks, throw them on the balcer and check the balance, real, quick to make Sure that we’re not going to ride bumpy as hell be wrapped out on the way back to uh Utah and then uh after that thr all these things in the truck and uh we’ll be on our way, L balls, deep middle Wyoming Teddy, was getting antsy had to take a little piss, so he took a little break. Brock is y p. This over here holy. We need to go holy Brock’s too anxious to bust out his new glocky bot today dude. What is going on all right.
We got to go, let’s go if you pan on to that. As you can see, we are 8 minutes away. If I go double the speed limit, we’ll make it there in 4 minutes, so we’re going to speed up I’m so antty to see this thing. I think honestly, the most thing that I’m excited about which I didn’t think I’d – be that excited about Loki Starlight. Headliner.

Might clap hard Rose acting like he’s, never seen a Starlight headliner before Rose acting like he doesn’t no to seen a Dru with one anyways chat, we’re here in St Louis Missouri. It’S literally reported 60 mph winds outside and it’s already 15, it’s literally 15 outside plus 60 mph winds, so pretty much. What I’m getting at here is. I think I brought enough extra cash that I think I’m just going to try and buy this thing on the forces cuz. The thought of freezing our balls off changing these wheels out when it’s literally 0 outside is not too comforting.

So, with 60 mph winds, let not forget that about anyways 5 minutes away. I mean 2 and 1/2 minutes away cuz we’re going 140 mph right now. As you can hear these, you can really hear these mud Grapplers singing. We have just pulled up to the Walmart. I’M catching far away glances.
This dude has lowkey a nasty setup, 2024 GMC Denali dly bub It Out trailer matching trailer with rock lights, with my l5p on the back. Yeah pan in this thing got rock lights for days, brother, oh, listen to that thing. Bark, been running for a minute, show all let’s go check out the setup, we’re literally parked in the middle of Walmart sup, guys how’s it going Emerson nice to meet you nice to meet you dude. Your setup is nasty as is the oil from this or the 73. This is the 7.

I was like holy. We might have a problem. Bro got forces on the trailer that mad tough. I got a on my holy, this thing’s nasty. Let’S go for a rip, it’s pretty high.

What’S it cutting for huh, why does it cut out? I was told from the when I did the S400 kit. I started doing that that Fuel stock fuel stock injection it’s a little dark, but uh we have acquired l5p. The owner said rip it for him one last time so where’s the traction control at might as well test that, at the same time, if this does a burnout, all right, l5p L certified heaters. If I bought a truck from someone and they laid a heater, I don’t know that dude just was like kind of quiet or he was lowkey like pissed off at us, but I had no idea this thing.
Lowkey needs retuned, hella bad and it doesn’t help that we’re at like 12,000 fet. What’S it called elevation 12,000 elevation right now, dude. I can’t even think my fingertips are so damn cold. This Hood sack is so damn loud now this might upset some of you. The first thing that is going on this truck is this: Hood stack, the most Riser ass, ever and the roll pan.

The roll pan looks like and all the stickers, but we just bought it. So can’t really talk, but uh we are going to fill up with fuel the two rigs real, quick, this steering wheel. The steering wheel is fire fire like fire at night, though so not it. It said I was doing 110 mph on the freeway. So I think it’s hella off I’m going to have these tinted, so it’s not like boom in your face holy.

Okay, we got a sticker tour here, sticker tour. We got Adam. What is that Adams polishes literally the shittiest detail company on planet Earth, whatever the hell that is, we Chase noo? That’S Tik, Tok shop, Daddy’s, Money, PPE, the suede in this go hard with the sunroof ly. I didn’t even know that it had a suede headliner holy, it’s so cold where’s, my heated.
What did he say? As you can see, we had to go to a different gas station cuz. The 7-Eleven we were at was a piece of and the pumps didn’t work, but uh we’re going to fill these units up with fuel head back to the shop it’s dark and cold. So we will see you guys. Tomorrow, all right guys!

Well, as you can see it’s the next day made it back. This color looks absolutely nasty in the sun. Now, as you saw last night, we ended up uh just buying it on the wheels cuz. It was like 15 outside and really wasn’t feeling like changing the wheels so uh for now we’re going to rock these uh 2414 American Forest Frost, probably get them polished and uh, throw some different tires on them. Um but yeah as as far as the truck sits right now, there’s two major things that have to go on this thing before I even drive it or do anything with it and the uh first.

One of those is this: guy right here: lovely Hood stack for some people, not for me. Keep that to your second gen, so uh we are pulling the hood stack off so if, for some reason, you’re feeling ballsy enough that you want an l5p hood and a hood stack, bang, my DMs or trade me a Stock hood. It doesn’t even have to be this color, I’m totally fine respraying it don’t even care uh. The other thing that has to go ASAP Rocky. Is this piece of right right here, literally the most atrocious looking roll pan I’ve ever seen in my life, but plan is get a hood get it painted?
I got a 5 in on order already a DPF 5 in DPF and 5 in back cuz. As you see, the DPF comes out the hood right now um and then I got a couple other things on the way for this thing, like some badges, um and then going to fix a couple of the paint things probably order some new Wheels, but uh mainly The next couple weeks, a lot of this truck a lot of what this truck is going to see, is mainly just one getting just nice and cleaned up needs. A good buff uh need some. Some paint work um just a couple touch-up like things um, but I have ordered a bunch of parts for this thing already so uh stay tuned.
