Hi we got trees blowing over uh. We got to start the TRX we’re taking this today. Cold start yepo all right. So today what we have to do is we have a little break in the rain, which is good.
It’S been raining like crazy um, so we got to get the Platinum which we finished in article. If you guys watch that we have to get that we’re going to take it to the lot. We have just a tiny break in the rain um rain later today and rain all day tomorrow, and then we we we drop to like 6 um after that. So today’s the day, let’s go plat them to the lot I’ll, see you at the shop all right. So my plan for the the TRX is to put that in here.
After I get the black truck out of here, because then um, I’m probably going to detail that thing. So black truck’s coming out going to the lot wow. Is it so clean man? I’M not kidding you. This is the best shape this truck’s, probably ever been in.
With the with the paint correction, ceramic coating, the interior detail, The underc Carriage detail, the wheels being refinished under the hood being detailed, fresh new rear bumper. This is probably other than driving it off the lot, but even then it was still you know, dealer scratched for when they washed it. It’S probably yeah looks good um. So I got to get all this junk out of the way uh, because the shop here is a goofy size. Okay, so if we would pull in the truck straight into the wall, we wouldn’t have much room to work around the thing you know you could do that with like a car.
So what I do is I just pull in this big Bay. You know mainly because also it’s the only Bay the trucks can fit in. I pull in here, and I pull like this. As you can see, this seems to be the best way to work on these trucks with with proper room around them. So it’s tricky to get in and out yep check it out in the daylight.
Oh buddy, snap, a couple picks: we got to put a license plate on there. We got no plate um. So, let’s get this in there nowo we’re racing against the rain, which we should. We should be, okay, but as you can see the funny the funny shop here, I I would love to get a bigger shop, not going to lie to you but they’re. So freaking expensive, I mean like, have you guys been in a position where you’re looking for a shop recently, it’s ridiculous?
What people are charging for these things? I think that I want to build. One somewhere is my ultimate goal, but you know, then you got to find the land you got to go through that process, but I got to do an Austin Powers. 100 point turn to get to get squared up in. Here guys.
You know what I just realized um, I I don’t know what I’m going to drive home from the lot in last article. What did I say? I said I got to remember to clean the inside of the windshield forgot to do it. The inside of the windshield. Always escapes me: I really forgot how nice this truck is.
This truck is absolutely perfect. I really hope that one of you guys that that watches the channel buys this thing because um I’m going to miss it, and I hope it goes to someone good, because it’s an awesome truck. We have made it to the lot little bit of light to spare. There’S Jack locking up looks like everyone’s leaving for the day it’s 5:00. Now we got to figure out where this puppy is going to go, because we got to get it on the front road, because that’s where the people are going to see it that road Frontage there is is insane very, very busy with traffic um.
So we got to get it like: there’s a black TRX right there, um somewhere in that area, all right now I don’t know if this is where this is living right now, so we’ll figure that we’ll figure that out, but we managed to get it down here With no dust Road, Grime, salt, a little bit of stuff but that’ll come off um. My main concern was getting it down here and not getting it trashed, and I think we accomplished the goal. Oh there’s something right. There, little mud he’s he’s with a customer. He doesn’t see me yet we’ll go in here, we’ll see we’ll see Dale.
I think Dale’s detailing, oh, oh yeah, oh yeah, they’re! All in there. What are you locking me out? Oh whoa, what are you mining you? A miner cap mhm?

We could YouTube that right now the range the white one we just went up my wife, it’s shaking it won’t go blah blah blah. No, so we went up and had triple A D and D.

Not it’s not in the shop it’ll. Never in there right, but I didn’t know, you YouTub, so you live yeah we’re live. This is this is live right now. What do you got to say? What do you want to say something shout out to anyone?
He what the hell you put them big tires on there like you for you. I thought you wanted them on there. No, what no it don’t it don’t look mean it looks. That looks mean. What are you talking about out to our dump truck driver?
You see how wide those are. I know P when the thing pulled in I was like who the hell is that all right, so I got the papers. I missed Rick see me with the camera on the head. He asked me if that was a light missed it didn’t get it on camera, but um. We get these papers in here because they just get so dirty.
You put all that time into cleaning this thing and then you get in there and you get it all. Dirty with your feet, but yeah Rick comes out. He goes. Is that a camera on your head? What the heck is wrong with you missed it, though crap good morning.
Well, look what we drove home last night! We got to do a cold start, we’re leaving the red truck, taking the clapped out Longhorn. This is a def. This is the definition of a clapped out. Cumins here check out that bumper, It’s just you know it’s a little rough cold start.
So yesterday it was super dead, like I mean super dead whenever I was trying to start this last night. So, let’s see if it starts, oh, she turned over slow, but she started look at this 11 volts, oh buddy. I cannot believe it started now we’re Char we’re charging we’re charging. So that’s good, but anyways I mean look at this interior. It’S a little dirty right now, but I I love the longhorn interior.
Oh my! Is it nice dude? This thing has 187,000 M on it and it’s it’s literally a a clapped out cumins, but I like it but all right guys. What we have to do today is we have to go to the shop real, quick um. It is actually morning time uh right now.
So we’re going to run down there, we got to grab a couple things. Then we got to head back to the lot. What what we’re going to do is we’re probably going to start getting a list together on what this truck needs. This was a trade in um, it’s 2013 2500 Longhorn uh, the engine and transmission are super strong um, but everything else is kind of bad. Like there’s, there’s very, very bad Drive sh drive shaft slop like in the U-joints.
She needs some help, but I’ll see you at the shop. It’S it’s hard to drive, I’m not going to lie um it. It has a mean shutter, um, probably from the ujoint being so wore out, and there is a a large dead spot in the steering where nothing happens um. So you have this much wander and it’s people behind me are concerned. Thinking it’s.
You know more time drinking but low RPMs like lugging it with that. I’M not I’m not hard on on the throttle to cuz that that that drive, that? U joint, will like literally let go it’s on the verge of letting go. I’Ve never driven one so bad, but it’s the the hard part is, is steering the truck. I don’t know what kind of tunes on the thing, but it’s got a mm3 up there on the window.
Well, not on the window. It’S currently falling off and it’s unplugged. No idea whose Tunes are on this thing, but uh it feels feels great, like powerwise transmission, smooth firm shifts, quick shifts, nothing’s delayed. That’S a plus that steering, though, that it all right so update. We made it to the lot um little bit.
Time has passed. It’S been a weird day, uh platinum’s on the picture pad uh, it looks it looks pretty good over there, the weather, the weather is getting a little weird um, so potentially the LTZ. I never did anything with that. Yet on the YouTube channel here, the LTZ Duramax. That’S a 21 um l5p.
It’S probably going to go today: the guy’s trading in a uh, a 60 Denali um, just gaser on on the on the Duramax, but anyways. Let’S check out the clap out coming so this. This is a 2013 Ram. 2500 Longhorn! I I do like the longhorn, the Interiors are sick, but this thing needs some extreme help.
I mean first off. Let’S just look at the exterior. The bumper is is wow. You know look at that bumper um moving down the side, you don’t have much damage on the side and then you get to the bed. Um bed’s caved in a little bit there.
It’S not terrible. You could probably fix that. Make that work o it’s windy. Um! Bumper rear bumper hammered nice big old, Dent there uh tailgate savable.
You know we could save the tailgate there’s a little bit of rust here, um and then coming around passenger bedside little ding on the top bed. Rail um and then the bed itself on the side is, is weird. So you can see this is filler. So there’s there’s a bunch of body there’s a bunch of Bondo here I don’t know what happened to that, but it was hit on the Bondo. And now it’s all chipping off, so that’s not good um bumpers pushed into the bed.
The frame underneath is surprisingly for for a 13 with 187 on it in this area, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. It’S not that bad. So the the underneath is pretty good um. You know average average surface rust body rust is minimal, cab, corners and Rockers are good they’re starting to to flake a tiny bit, but you know not bad. You know we could clean that up and prolong that for a long time which you know the truck has potential.
I weirdly like this thing: um it was dead last night, so I put the jumper cables in the back, but look at this Longhorn interior. It’S it’s really cool. I mean you got like the belt buckle, pouch on the back of the seat, like that’s cool man, the fake wood grain, but it looks real um. So so, there’s what you see on the exterior passenger side mirror hammered like very bad. A little Dent there um the truck, is dirty.
It needs a severe severe paint correction. I don’t know what’s going on with that, that’s not it might be dirt. Yeah, it’s dirt, weird dirt, not a dent um! That’S a scrape! I don’t know if that can be paint corrected off what um but main concern front bumper, pretty much the whole bed’s trash.
I don’t know if we would do bedsides or a new bed um and then rear bumper and then maybe go over the truck on a Paintless Dent, removing deal PDR for this, and you know a nice ni. A nice paint correction with a with obviously get a new new passenger mirror. I think you would make a f looking truck in the terms of budget. I was trying to get some proper pictures of the platinum on the photo pad and then we still have to move it up front somewhere, um, potentially where the black TRX is, but I I’m not sure yet and oh, my goodness, I’m going inside freezing. I got a I got a couple pictures, so the Facebook Marketplace listing might might go, live, I’m not sure.
Yet it might. It might not depending on how the pictures come out, but, oh, my God, it’s brutal out here, um, so just update for the day. I’M just kind of bringing you guys, along with my daily, my daily activity, kind of like OG Vlog status, uh. So there’s where we’re at on the clapped out. Longhorn, probably getting this in on trade today and then the LTZ durmax is going.

100,000. Mi 60 Gasser: it’s a clean truck trade, took it on trade. You guys anyone interested no worries, um, the old fourth gen Longhorn fired up zero issues today, um. So next article we’re probably going to um tear into this thing and start getting this together, meaning like starting with the U joints and like like, like the drivable stuff, just to get it drivable and operating good. If you want to call it that so tune in the next article we’re going to start tearing into the longhorn Platinum posting is not done yet, so it is not really for sale anywhere yet um.
But ah it’s hard. It’S hard. It’S a tough!
