SOTF Switch (Shift-On-The-Fly)

TCM Tuning (Transmission Control Module)

• • Increases line pressure in your transmission so it can handle added engine power from the tunes.
  • Highly recommended for anyone with a 68RFE transmission running more than a tow tune.

  • DEF: Diesel Exhaust Fluid is no longer required. Tank can be unplugged or removed.
  • Check Engine Light / DTCs: Prevents emission-related codes, alerts to other non-emission issues.
  • Fuel Mileage: Significant gains expected (e.g., 13-14 MPG → 18-19 MPG), results vary with tires, habits, and mods.

️General Installation Guide

• • Download the App: “AutoAgent” on App Store (iOS 8+) or Google Play Store (Android 5+).
  • Create an Account: Verify your email during setup.
  • Key in ‘Run’ Position: Turn key without starting engine. Push-to-start: press twice.
  • Plug in AutoAgent: Connect device to OBD-II port. Blue and green lights indicate success.
  • Connect via WiFi: Connect to “EZLYNK_####” network (Bluetooth also supported).
  • Open the App: Vehicle gauges appear.
  • Lynk Your Vehicle: Follow prompts to connect to technician’s account.
  • Program Your Vehicle: Vehicle > ECU Profiles → select desired tune → tap Install to flash.

Flashing Steps

• • Get EZ LYNK Auto Agent.
  • Tune Before Removing Parts: Ensures truck isn’t stranded.
  • Connect Battery Charger (crucial).
  • Download App & Create Account.
  • Plug in EZ LYNK & Bypass Cable (if required).
  • Connect to Auto Agent via WiFi → link vehicle → notify technician to send files.
  • Flash Correct Tune Files (KEY STEP)

    • Navigate to ECU Profiles.

    • Flash RESET / “FLASH FIRST” file:

      • Jeep: 68270625AG_1_MUST_FLASH_FIRST

      • Ram 1500: #0 – MUST FLASH FIRST THE VERY FIRST TIME

      • Colorado/Canyon: [YEAR]_2.8_RESETFILE

    • Flash ~7 minutes. Instant flash = not done.

    • Disconnect EZ LYNK and vehicle batteries 10 min.

    • Reconnect → flash desired power level tune (e.g., …50HP_ECONOMY…).
