Key Components & Recommendations

SOTF Switch (Shift-On-The-Fly):

The SOTF Switch is required to properly run SOTF tunes.
Without the switch, your tune will default to the lowest power level.
Installing the switch allows you to adjust power levels instantly and maximize performance.

TCM Tuning (Transmission Control Module):

TCM tuning increases line pressure in your transmission, ensuring it can handle added engine power.
Highly recommended for anyone with a 68RFE transmission running anything more than a tow tune.
IMPORTANT: Please specify any transmission modifications when ordering TCM Tuning!

What’s Included & System Features

• • Smartphone Required: You MUST have a smartphone (iOS or Android) to download and install tunes.
  • Rotary Switch: Includes a rotary switch to change power levels on the fly.
  • Unlock Cable: Includes the required unlock cable for 2018+ Cummins and Nissan pickups.
  • DPF Delete Pipe: Includes DPF delete pipe with optional upgrade to full exhaust system.
  • EGR Delete Kit: Includes EGR delete kit for complete system removal.

Emissions System Management

• • DPF / CAT / DOC / SCR: The EZ LYNK is delete-capable. These components must be removed.
  • EGR: Deactivates the EGR system. The EGR can remain installed (unplugged) or be fully removed with the included kit.
  • DEF: Diesel Exhaust Fluid is no longer required. The tank can be unplugged or removed.
  • Check Engine Light / DTCs: Prevents emission-related codes while still alerting you to other issues.
  • Fuel Mileage: Expect significant gains after emissions removal (from 13–14 MPG up to 18–19 MPG combined).
    Results may vary depending on driving habits and modifications.

Installation Steps

Living up to the EZ LYNK name, installation is straightforward.

• • Step One: Download and install the AutoAgent app (iOS 8+ or Android 5+).
  • Step Two: Create an account and verify your email address.
  • Step Three: Turn the key to the Run position without starting the engine. (Push-to-start: press twice.)
  • Step Four: Plug the AutoAgent device into your OBD-II port. A blue and green light indicates successful boot.
  • Step Five: Connect your smart device via WiFi to “EZLYNK_####”. (AutoAgent 2 also supports Bluetooth.)
  • Step Six: Open the AutoAgent app to view your vehicle gauges.
  • Step Seven: Lynk your vehicle when prompted to connect to your technician’s account.
  • Step Eight: Navigate to Vehicle > ECU Profiles, download your desired tune, and press Install to flash your vehicle.

Special Instructions (Jeep & Ram 3.0L EcoDiesel / 2.8L Duramax)

MUST FLASH THE TRUCK BEFORE INSTALLING ANY HARD PARTS.

Failure to follow these steps may cause issues.

Preparation

• • Hook up a battery charger and set to a low charge (10A). Voltage drops can cause flash failure.
  • Connect the bypass cable if flashing a 2018+ Cummins, Jeep 3.0L, or Ram 1500 EcoDiesel.

Flashing Steps

1. 1. Purchase or connect your EZ LYNK Auto Agent.
   2. Tune your truck before removing hardware to avoid downtime.
   3. Connect your battery charger.
   4. Download the EZ LYNK app and create your account.
   5. Plug in the AutoAgent and bypass cable (if required).
   6. Connect via WiFi and link your vehicle to your technician.
   7. Wait for confirmation that your tune files have been sent.

Flashing the Correct Files

• • Navigate to ECU Profiles.
  • Flash the “RESET” or “FLASH FIRST” file before any other tune.

    • Jeep: 68270625AG_1_MUST_FLASH_FIRST

    • Ram 1500: #0 - MUST FLASH FIRST THE VERY FIRST TIME

    • Colorado/Canyon: [YEAR]_2.8_RESETFILE

  • The process should take about 7 minutes. If it finishes instantly, it failed.
  • Disconnect the EZ LYNK and batteries for 10 minutes.
  • Reconnect and flash your desired power tune (e.g., _50HP_ECONOMY_...).
