Let’s roll. What up, dicks? Welcome back to the channel where we uh do Colt’s way. It ain’t always the right way, but hey, we’re going to get it done. Um, today I’m going to show you all real quick.

I had a, oops, I had a bunch of people ask me about this magic box here, and can you watch easylink on the on the screen with the box instead of having to use your phone to do it? So yes, you can. I’m going to show y’all how to do that, so without further ado, let’s roll, son. A little mullet update real quick, like if you ain’t sitting in the truck parked, letting your mullet just flow, letting the freedom just run off behind you, what are you even doing, son? All right, boys, so normally what you would do if you want to have easylink, you know, you got to get on your app, hook the wi-fi from the easylink up to your phone, and then you get in the app and open it up, and then you got your easy link, so that’s fine. You want to ride like that all the time, you know, have it sideways, whatever you want to do, change from tiles to gauges, you know, but then your phone’s locked up and you, you know, you can’t, if you’re wanting to, you can’t use your phone while you’re monitoring.

your gauges, you see what I’m saying? So we’re going to get rid of that where you can use your phone, do whatever, because this magic box right here, this is going to hook up to the easy link instead of my phone, so I’ll show you how that’s done. All right, I’m going to try to simplify it for you because I got to have everything in in simpleman’s terms as well, so basically this is like kind of like a computer, but we’ll just call it a phone. This is a phone without a screen, and then your screen will become this, so hear me out. On an iPhone, you go to the app store, you can download apps. On a droid phone, you go to the Google Play store and you can download apps. Well, this is based up the operating system off of droid, so you’re going to go to the Google Play store. So what we’re going to do first is we’re going to plug this thing in and I’m going to take it to the Google Play store, and then I’m going to type in the easylink app, and then I’m going to pull it up and we’re going todownload it.
Now, it doesn’t just download out of thin air, you’re going to have to hook this, like I showed you in the other videos, up to wi-fi, whether it be your phone’s hot spot, or if your truck has a hot spot, or if you’ve got like a uh, for work, I’ve got a computer, I’ve got a little mobile hotspot I take with me, a square thing, or or you can pull up close to your home and use the wi-fi at your house. So we’re going to stick this in, we’re going to go to the play store and we’re going to download the auto link app, or I think it’s auto agent, but we’re going to download the easy link app, so I’ll show you how to do it step by step. I’m just trying to explain things in simple manage terms, phone without a screen, just hear me out, okay? I’m gonna try to do holding it because it’s the truck’s vibrating because it’s a big old diesel, you know what I’m saying? Anyway, plug it in like normal, it’s gonna come up. Now I’m gonna hook it on to the wi-fi to my phone so that I can getto the internet,
so now it’s doing its thing. I’m just trying to show step by step. I don’t want to like cut this scene and end up on the app store because that ain’t how nobody learns nothing, so get your latte, take a little sip and let’s roll. As soon as this comes up, we’ll get it done. All right, it’s done with the red, now it’s blue, so warning, we’re going to accept that. I’ve already done a video how to set this up and everything, I’ll link it up here in the screen somewhere, click that if you’ve never used this and we’ll we’ll roll like that. All right, so I’ve already hooked up to the wi-fi on my phone, it’s like a personal hotspot, I just hot spotted it over and then the bluetooth just to save time off camera, I showed you how to do that in another video, so we’re just going to go over one more and then we’re going to go to the Google Play store right there, and then when this play store comes up, it’s basically like the app store for this thing, just like your your phone. 
So I’m gonna try to type, you know, off where I can look, so auto, I believe it’s called autoagent, yeah, right there, so I’m gonna click that and then what I’m gonna want to do is I’m gonna install this. Now this doesn’t, it’s not like I said, it’s not hooked up to my phone because I’m just getting the internet connection from my phone. I’m gonna hook it up, I’m gonna download that on this box right here, so I’m gonna install, so it’s gonna wait and everything. I’m just trying to show everybody, you know, step by step. Um, so it’ll give you a percentage just like any other apps, 30, and if I was next to my house, you know, the wi-fi at my house is a lot faster than hot spotting off my phone and we’ve already been downloaded, but we’re just going to take our time, sip a latte or something, ain’t nothing to it. So now it’s installing and if it takes much longer, I’ll just cut it and start the clip over when it’s done, but it shouldn’t be too much longer. All right, I’m just gonna uh,
I’mjust gonna pause this until it’s done. Well, shut up, Colt. So now we’re gonna go, you could open it here, but I want to show you what you do, so I’m going to go back to the home screen right here and then boom, auto agent right there, so it’s basically just like added an app to my phone, so auto agent and now I’m going to log in and I don’t want anybody to see my login info, so I’m gonna log in off, you know, you push this and then the little keyboard is gonna pop up, I’m gonna log in one second. All right, so I’ve got my stuff filled out, logged in, I’ve got a auto agent two next end of android 6 sims 4 whatever auto application ending, all right, cool. So I’m going to connect that, I’m sure there’s going to be some update I’ve got to download or some, but that ain’t what this video is about. So now what I’ve got to do is I’ve got to get over here, so I’m going to have to go back to the to the beginning now, so I don’t want to confuse anybody, but remember I was hooked up to the wi-

fi on my phone, I was on that so I could get internet connection to download that, but since I’ve got it downloaded it, I don’t need internet connection anymore, so what I’m going to do is I’m going to go, I’m sorry, I’m going to go to settings and I’m going to go to wi-fi and I’m going to click easylink instead, so I’m probably going to have to turn it off on my phone, okay? So now I’m I’m connected to the easylink that’s plugged into my obd port down there. I’m no longer connected to the wi-fi on my phone. Now I won’t be able to get on the internet right now because easylink doesn’t have internet, obviously, I’m just using the wi-fi connection, just trying to dump it down for everybody. So now what I’m going to do is go go back to easylink and now that allow auto agent to access location, I’m going to do this only while using the app because I have a gps speed right here is one of my things, so now boom, I’ve got auto agent easy link on my freaking screen. I can do whatever I want onmy phone,
you know, you know, I don’t have to do whatever, you know, I can do whatever on my phone and I’m not having to have my phone tied up to watch, you know, my gauges. So same thing, go to, you know, like that, whatever, I’m gonna rev it up a little{ bit, your graphs, I don’t use the graph, um, I just I mostly use tiles, but I don’t know what this is, yeah, I keep my boost pressure there, but anyway, we’ll go down the road.
