What’S up boys we’re here with garrett today, he’s got a 2006 60f-250 we’re going to be getting some content all right guys. So this is garrett. This is 6-0. What’S going on guys, that’s my 6-liter! I just built some compound turbos for it planning to make.

 

 

 

Like 1400 horsepower reliably, so this is a 2006 f-250 yeah. We got some uh 24-14 forces on here, concave morphs, some 33 furys, so we’ve had a lot of trucks on the channel running furious. This is actually a 33 1450 right. Now you can see it’s not really showing so much lip compared to other setups that we’ve had on the channel uh. How do you like the furies they’re just loud?

That’S all really. I mean i don’t mind them, but they’re definitely loud, and this is a concave morph american forest pattern. Probably the sickest pattern american force has other than the you know wheels heart the genesis i do. I think the nemesis are the hardest ones out there they’re so expensive yeah. They are oh, my gosh.

 

 

 

So how much did you get these for uh? Unfortunately, i had to fork up around 7k for this setup, but it came with brand new tires. I didn’t get it brand new or anything, so i mean i feel like i came out all right compared to new yeah man. Actually we did the whole front end. It used to be chrome bumper.

Actually, i got the truck with no bumper, but it’s smooth color matched the six seven valance down there. We did the mirrors and the door handles as well all right. Those are that’s a four-wheel drive or a two-way drop. Six seven valence this color match badges yeah match badges. I honestly got that on amazon, oh on amazon, yeah, oh bro, all right!

 

 

 

So what kind of suspension you’re running right here? Oh it’s pretty much stock suspension. We got a little profab for our pro form fab. Four link and track bars under there. I actually ended up getting a pretty smoking deal on all that from a follower of mine actually hit me up and he had sold his truck and it just got all this stuff back from powder hit me up and said: hey man come pick this stuff up.

500 bucks it’s yours, so i obviously hit the road damn dude the little steel look of steel. It looks sick. Maybe you can see it better from right here. Yeah we’re how’s! The house got the duck boots on there, yeah always always yeah.

 

 

 

It looks sick dude. All white all right now we’re gon na get some good stuff. Let’S pop the hood blown out, it’s a ford. The hood gets used a lot, so you got to replace those pretty often – and here we are damn then so – give us a run down. So obviously here we got a compound setup: precision, 6766 ceramic ball bearing turbo as our high pressure side feeding a s492.

So i mean this setup’s good for probably about 2 000 horse worth of air right now, we’re still pretty much stock fuel system so working on getting that all taken care of, but you know, got the turbo kit done. That was a big step for sure, and it’s all done by me and a couple of buddies, the welding, the fabbing, all of it. This bracket was crazy to make we made all that that started out as a piece of cardboard that we fabbed up wow wow. I mean we had to figure out a way to hang the turbo off the engine, because obviously you can’t mount it to the frame because the engine torx right right, so we had to figure out. We got the local, that’s the local cowboy we got in town here.

 

 

 

So how did so this? This is being held up by the bracket that you made yes right here, it’s hanging off the alternator actually wow, so i mean think about it. You got to make it pretty sturdy that turbo alone weighs 65 pounds, wow and you’re bouncing up and down off the road, but you can see now she’s very solid, very solid. I got the oil lines from socal billet. It was really hard.

Actually, that was the hardest part of the whole compound setup was to figure out how to get oil to this turbo wow. I didn’t know how to do it, and i ended up figuring out on a forum someone told me to hit up socal. I called him and he hooked me right up with it all right. So here we got the local country boy. You got a hood mounts right, got a hood mount right there, marco talking about that sid!

 

 

 

You miss yours, yeah dude! If you guys don’t know this guy right here, you have one of the cleanest six-hours in pembroke pines, but now here it’s taking over, you got the hardest thing yeah. So obviously we couldn’t run two more batteries anymore, because we had to put a big turbo right here. You could still actually see the oh, the harness the old harness for it, so i just went and picked up a red top. I mean you can definitely hear when she starts she’s trying yeah, i’m gon na have to get like a reduction starter or something for sure accumulatively.

It’S like 150 millimeters worth of turbo, really but uh this one’s a 92 and that one’s a 67 

 

And really quick, how much did you say this cost? I think i’m in it about like four grand in parts i mean i did all the work. You know a few buddies of mine. Would you change anything if you could do it again? I can’t really think of a much better way.

I would do it honestly. I mean this is like the simplest way in a way. The only thing i would change for sure is. I would never ever ever put a hood stack on my truck again. Oh yeah.

 

 

 

Never put a hood stack. Why not? So no one tells you that when you put a hood stack on your truck, you can’t use your passenger windows anymore, because then one all the coal comes directly in your truck. You feel the heat you get covered in it. My headliner’s covered in it it’s terrible, so we’re gon na, probably when i’m gon na get my cow hood we’ll go ahead and turn that sideways and come right out the fender for sure all right turn it up!

That’S how you know when your turbo’s big, sick, um,, a lot of people think that it’s a vgt turbo in the center. But it’s uh because it’s ceramic ball bearing it can spin a lot more freely. So you’ll get that whistle that everyone likes right. The turbo spinning so fast that idle, wouldn’t even have the vgt valve closed to make it spin faster, obviously, but and this one’s not immediate yeah, they both are gon na, put it in first gear and just give us some throttle it’s about to bro yeah. Do you have any future plans for it future plans, definitely a big fuel built transmission and i definitely want to be able to get a smaller wheel.

 

 

 

Tire set up. So it’s a lot lighter. You know we keep the same rims here, yeah i’ll, keep these to drive on i’d like to go with like something small like an 18 by like 14 or 18 by 12, or something like that. So i could put a slick on it. You know i do plan, i totally plan to send it down the strip.

I want a drag truck, essentially right. If you guys don’t know, this is his daily yeah daily driven 14 hours here when i moved to florida drive it every single day when we were doing the whole turbo kit. For like the past four or five weeks, i’ve been driving an hour to our shop. Taking it all, apart doing all the work we do like 12 13 hour days, working on it and then put it all back together, the best we can to where i could drive it back home and keep driving it, because, i guess that’s all. I got that’s crazy all right.

 

 

 

This is how you know: you’re a real country boy. You got the toolbox, you got the yeti on top of the toolbox and you got a  ton of oil. Look at this , dude yo. Why you got so much oil get it while you can all right we’re gon na get a little pool for you guys and hopefully a burnout  vertical the other way- that is so dope dude. What do you think needs more fuel needs.

More fuel got another little public setup. Dude. Look at this right here which truck you’re taking yeah hardest decision, though yeah for sure and like i couldn’t get it to like. I didn’t have like a good spot to start. I had to start like there with the centering bit and then go up like that.

 

 

 

You know what i’m saying: nah. It was rough. So now, if you want to take me, you know i’m gon na, do it, i’m gon na get a cow hood and then i’m gon na put it out the side and do like a big tear drop or something like that.
